Renaissance Fiddler’s Tune Book (Treble clef, for solo instrument.)
21 olde tunes composed between the years 1100 and 1650. Love songs, sad songs, dance songs, waltzes, etc., from Germany, France, England, and Italy.

Renaissance Fiddling Tunes for Two (Options: violin, viola, cello, bass, or mandolin duet books.)
28 traditional Renaissance tunes are arranged for two players, with chords for back-up musicians included. Program notes and a source list are included.

Renaissance Trios for Strings (Build a trio with part books in treble, viola, or bass clefs.)
These 46 arrangements feature works by well known composers of the day (Byrd, Morley, Palestrina, etc.), as well as composers that are not so well known (Gumpelzhaimer, Jones, Munday, etc.). Many of these pieces are suitable, aka “easy”, for folks playing in a trio for the first time.

Renaissance String Quartets (Violin 1, violin 2, viola, and cello)
These 25 arrangements feature works by well known composers of the day (Byrd, Morley, Palestrina, etc.), as well as composers that are not so well known (Anerio, Holborne, Phalese, etc.). Many of these pieces are suitable, aka “easy”, for folks playing in a quartet for the first time.

These 46 selections are a perfect starting place for beginning string players to experience the joy of playing chamber music. The Madrigal first gained popularity among singing groups during the Renaissance Era.

These 43 selections are great for beginning string quartet players. It has a different selection of tunes than theMadrigal Trios for Strings (above).
